  1. A sideline kick is awarded to the opposite team when a figure plays the whole of the ball over the sideline.
  2. The sideline kick must be taken from the point at which the ball crossed the line.
  3. Each team is allowed one positional flick, with the attacking side flicking first.
  4. It is possible to score from a sideline kick, providing the below rules on scoring are adhered to.
  5. The defending team must be permitted to take a blocking flick following a sideline kick.
