  1. If an attacking figure is flicked and hits a defending figure before hitting the ball, it is a foul and a free kick is awarded at the point of the offence.
  2. If either player touches the ball with his hand, it is a foul and a free kick is awarded at the point of the offence.
  3. If a player's hand prevents the ball from going into the goal, a penalty is awarded.
  4. If a defending player obstructs his opponent around the table, it is a foul and a free kick is awarded at the position of the ball at the time of the offence.
  5. If an attacking figure is flicked at the ball five times in succession,  a back may be called by the defending team and the ball and figures must be returned to their original positions. Possession switches to the defending team whether or not they request a back.
